The Final Call: Honoring the End of Watch
The End of Watch Call, also known as the Last Radio Call, is a solemn ceremony that takes place following the passing of a police officer. During this ceremony, the police dispatcher initiates a final series of calls to the officer, followed by a moment of silence and the heartbreaking announcement that the officer has fulfilled their duty for the last time.
Deputy Sheriffs Magazine was founded to ensure that this final call is not the end of an officer's story. Through our publication, we bridge the gap between that final broadcast and a lasting, printed tribute that honors their life and courage forever.
